Financial Advisor

Chris joined Professional Planning Group as a Financial Advisor in 2002. Working directly with clients he provides comprehensive wealth management services and retirement planning strategies based upon their individual goals and objectives. Additionally, Chris is a Registered Principal of the firm, an Associate Compliance Officer, a member of the Executive Committee and serves as co-chair of the Investment Committee.

Experience

Prior to joining Professional Planning Group, Chris was a vice president and portfolio manager at Mellon Private Wealth Management where he provided investment management and trust services to high-net-worth families, endowments and foundations. Chris also served in various research, product management, investment sales and marketing roles at The Boston Company, a global asset management firm, and its affiliate, Funds Distributor, Inc. (both prior associate companies of Mellon).

Education

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors distinction in Economics from Hobart College and also graduated from the New England School of Banking’s trust and estate planning program at Williams College. He is a CFA® charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. He holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses and is a Raymond James Registered Principal. Chris has also been a contributor to TheStreet.com and has been quoted in The Journal Report, a monthly section of The Wall Street Journal dedicated to mutual fund investing.

Community

Active in community organizations, Chris most recently served on the Board of Trustees and was a member and chair of the Finance and Investment Committees for the Memorial and Library Association of Westerly. He has also served as a member of the Professional Advisory Group for South County Health.

Family

Chris lives in Wakefield, RI with his wife and three sons.

In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golf, fishing and spending time with his family.
